You will learn the traditional methods of cooking and preserving food as well as learning about the different spices and how they are combined to have the inevitable delicious tastes and flavors.
We will also learn some of the special cultural practices we use here such as sharing our food with others. Togetherness in eating from the same plate either with your small family, relatives or friends is a key to blessings Warmth, Thankfulness. .
– We will start our tour from cafe L’adresse.
– Walk to our first stop that is the proud of Marrakech a dish called Tanjia which is an earthenware pot I call it the wife of the Tajine. We will discover our meaning of the roasted lamb and how it is prepared.
– Second stop will be to taste the traditional Moroccan real couscous.More stops included a Ferran(community oven) and a fernatchi (the backhand side of the steam bath) from which they heat water and rooms and where the tanjiya is slow cooked on the wood ashes.
– After that two minor stops for tasting and we will end in beauty admiring the famous Jamaa el fna square from the rooftop of a cafe terrace drinking tea as the music, chanting, and smoke from the food fill the air.
